Iglesia de los Santos Juanes

The Santos Juanes church is one of the oldest in Valencia. It is also known as the church of San Juan del Mercado (Saint John of the Market). It was built in the 14th century and its original architecture is gothic in style. However, there was a terrible fire in 1552 and the interior was completely refurbished. When you enter, be sure to look up at the huge dome crowning the church and the beautiful frescos decorating it.
