Sunset at the Malvarrosa beach, the name of which is said to come from the purple tones of the Valencia sky in the evening, is the perfect background for enjoying a cool beer and some tapas in one of the many seafront bars located along the city’s promenade. For those who prefer the intense heat of the midday sun, there is nothing better than a morning swim followed by a paella lunch in one of the restaurants located in Playa de las Arenas.
